Welcome to Storia, our online vintage furniture store based in Lewes, UK.

We’ve been in the vintage furniture business for many years and our philosophy has always been to buy sustainable, meaningful pieces built to last. We believe our homes are biographical and that the magic of vintage lies in the unique history of each item… every piece tells a story.

Our collection is wide-ranging and carefully curated, with a strong Italian influence. We got married in Tuscany and have spent countless summers on Italian road trips, sourcing stock along the way. Last year we bought an apartment in an old olive farm near Arezzo so we can spend more time exploring and hunting for treasures.

Alongside our Italian finds, we specialise in 1930s shop fittings and hold one of the largest collections of vintage Eames, sourced from the US. We supply not only private homes but also retailers, workspaces and design houses. Our corporate clients include Soho House, Jamie Oliver, Artists’ Residence, Harvey Nichols, Retrouvius, WeWork, Herman Miller, Pinewood Studios, The National Trust and The Design Museum. We also offer prop hire for everything from beer festivals to feature films.

All our stock is available online, and you’re welcome to view pieces in person at our studio on the South Downs, in Lewes (20 minutes from Brighton). We’re open weekdays by appointment, and with a bit of notice we can arrange weekend visits too.
